Orchard Place is the new contemporary lifestyle destination in the heart of The Broadway SW1, Northacre’s one million sq ft mixed-use redevelopment on the site of the former Metropolitan Police Headquarters and, originally, the orchards of Westminster Abbey until the 1600s.

A new, pedestrianised thoroughfare within the 1.72-acre island site that is adjacent to Victoria Street, Orchard Place offers 27,025 sq ft of versatile commercial space for retail, fitness, and dining use, all with available areas for outdoor seating. This is alongside 115,000 sq ft of bright and flexible workspace that has been let to Capital.com, the award-winning global trading platform, and Landmark, leaders in flexible workspace. Located within walking distance of three Royal Parks and Victoria and St. James’ Park underground stations, Orchard Place is the new local neighbourhood for residents of The Broadway’s 258 apartments and the wider, established work and residential community.

Farmer J’s 2,928 sq ft location provides seating for 80 covers and an open kitchen, offering dine-in, take away and delivery services, as well as in-store digital ordering to reduce queue time. Started in 2016 by former Deutsche Bank executive, Jonathan Recanati, Farmer J promises “forkin’ good food” with produce sourced from high-welfare farms and a changing menu inspired by world cuisines.

Independent speciality coffee house, Nostos Coffee has taken a 994 sq ft adjacent location. Their objective is to establish a flagship coffee shop that attracts visitors from both the city and beyond, contributing to the development’s status as a must-visit destination. By infusing innovation, transparency, and quality into your daily coffee experience, they aim to broaden your understanding of coffee while fostering a much-needed sense of community. Founded by Edison Shehu in May 2021, this local neighbourhood café has garnered a reputation as one of London’s finest coffee houses, renowned for sourcing rare and unique coffee varieties from across the globe.

Both retailers are due to open by summer 2023.
